Two suspects were reportedly arrested and brought in for questioning.
Two police officers were injured during the ongoing haredi protests against thearrest of draft dodgers happening on Bar-Ilan Street in Jerusalem on Sunday night, Israel Police said.
Hundreds of protesters blocked traffic, endangered pedestrians, set fire to trash cans, and “threw stones and other objects at officers,” according to the statement.
Israel Police used crowd control measures to restore order to the area, and two suspects were arrested and brought in for questioning.
Israel and Border Police forces currently remain at the scene to ensure that order is maintained and to restore traffic.

Dozens of people gathered around the President’s Residence in Jerusalem last week, calling on President Isaac Herzog to grant pardons to approximately 25 Jewish national prisoners, following the release of thousands of terrorists in accordance with the Gaza peace deal.
The protest led to clashes and road blockages in the area, as well as the arrest of four protesters for disrupting the peace.
Similar protests were held in Beit Shemesh, Israel Police confirmed.
